Social Media and Project Coordinator
The Social Media and Project Coordinator is a key member and support position to the marketing team. This candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives; develop digital and traditional marketing and grow social media channels for our business and shows. This positon is responsible for implementing and helping manage the development of social media campaigns, implementation of social strategy, and reporting on account performance, engagement and growth.
Strong writing skills across all marketing communications types – social media, website content, event pages, email newsletters, and blog posts;
Support in creating and managing editorial calendars, content creation, metrics/analysis and execution of social strategy;
Strong project management and organizational skills and strong sense of responsibility;
Ability to handle multiple fast-paced projects and work in a dynamic environment;
Self-starting, driven and independent team member;
comfortable wearing multiple hats in a creative, fun atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategize and implement promotional campaigns for outbound marketing;
Generate monthly reports, to report on engagement, brand performance, and campaign performance;
Partner closely with internal and external partners to optimize content on website and social media channels;
Review and respond to comments, posts, and comments on a weekly basis across all social media platforms. Mainly Facebook and Instagram
Assist in developing email marketing campaigns (composing copy, proofing, scheduling, graphics as needed)
Monitor relevant brand and event hashtags across all social platforms;
Interact with Partners and viewers on posts by the brand, and on customer posts tagged by hashtag, location, etc. on both sponsored (paid) and organic posts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram);
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or a closely related field
1-2 years of marketing experience in a professional work environment either in-house or agency;
Proven track record and experience in managing projects leading campaign development and execution;
Experience with online project and social media management tools;
Experience with design software Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Mobile Applications;
Familiarity and advance knowledge of Sprout Social or other similar platforms.
Experience in the media industry preferred but NOT required.
Experience with YouTube ads preferred but NOT required.
This is a full time in office position.
